Our software offers a wide range of customisation options to meet the specific requirements of your clients. For gable carports, you can choose from roof pitches of 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 degrees, with a maximum bay size of 6.0m. Skillion carports and attached awnings can have roof pitches of 2, 5, 7.5, or 10 degrees, with a maximum bay size of 9.0m
Shade structures are designed to provide ample coverage and protection, with roof pitches of 5, 7.5, or 10 degrees. These structures can span impressive distances, making them perfect for horse arenas or other large outdoor areas

Gable carports

With our gable carport design, you can create traditional structures featuring C-Section rafters and tophat purlins, complemented by SHS/RHS columns for bracing. Customise your designs further by adding shadow walls up to half the height of the carport, providing additional shade and protection.

Skillion carports

Unlike gable carports where the purlins run over the rafters, the skillion carport roof is a grid of C-Section beams and purlins. This design is similar to the carport covers you would see at shopping centres with a flat roof, allowing cars to drive in from either side. You can also customise the skillion carports to be 1.0m wide and 108.0m long, making them ideal for use as walkway covers. The RHS columns provide a safe and secure option, ensuring people don’t accidentally cut their fingers on exposed C-Sections.

Attached awnings

The versatility of our skillion carport design allows it to be repurposed as an attached awning, perfect for connecting to existing structures. These awnings can be attached to sheds, house eaves, or brick/cement walls, providing additional covered space and protection from the elements.

Shade structures and horse arenas

While the gable carport has a maximum width of 12.0m, our shade structure designs in ShedTech and Shed Builder allow you to span much wider distances and reach greater heights. These structures are ideal for applications such as horse arenas, providing ample coverage and protection.

To accommodate the larger spans and heights, our shade structure designs offer different column configurations. You can choose C-Sections similar to those used in portal sheds, but these members require bracing in the walls and have limited span capabilities. Alternatively, you can opt for larger RHS/SHS sections, allowing you to go higher and wider while maintaining clear span bays. For the ultimate in span and height, we offer the option of using UB columns, providing the largest possible spans and heights.
