Can I use my own logo on the quote and order documents?

Answer

Yes you can use your own logo and here is how to do it.

The logo used on all documentation produced by ShedTech is just an image file that is located in the ShedTech installation directory. This is a PNG (Portable Network Graphics) image file and you can replace it with any other image you like. The image file can be found at:

Border Edition
C:\Program Files\ShedTech\ShedTech Border\shedtechlogo.png

Gilchrist Edition
C:\Program Files\ShedTech\ShedTech Gilchrist\shedtechlogo.png

NB: If you are using the 64bit version of Windows 7, your program files folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\

To use your logo simply convert it to PNG with any image editing software and replace this file with your own (It must be called shedtechlogo.png). If you have the software installed on multiple computers, you will need to do this on each one.

If you need your logo file converted to a PNG file, send an email to support@shedrtech.com.au and attach your logo in either JPG, GIF or PDF formats.

NB: You should keep a copy of your logo in a separate location. You will need to copy in your logo after each ShedTech update.

Logo Tips

  • For each document produced by ShedTech there is a 40mm x 30mm area for a logo. ShedTech will isometrically scale your logo to fill this area.
  • Any resolution image can be used. If your logo is too small, ShedTech will still scale it to fill the logo area. This may mean your logo appears pixelated.
  • Where possible, your logo should have a white or transparent background (as paper is white).
  • Beware of any white-space around the edge of your logo in the image file, as this will also take up space in the area for your logo.
  • The PDFs created by ShedTech are high in quality and any low resolution image used as a logo, will stand out.
